Studio Avery is a small production studio located in the North Side of Pittsburgh – owned and operated by OrionVega. They were looking for a fresh new website to go with their rebranded identity. The two mains goals for this rework was a visual update to match the new logo, as well as a focus on images that would showcase the studio space.
I began the project by laying out the general structure of the site and importing content from the old website. Fortunately, most of the copy was still relevant and usable. The new logo was built using a halftone gradient, so I decided to use that as a visual element throughout the site; mostly to transition between background colors.
With most of the content and visual identity in place, I spent a half-day at the studio taking photos of the property to showcase on the site. The second half of the day was spent in Photoshop to make sure the pictures I took were eye-catching. The site was completed after uploading the images and doing some SEO.
